The spread of the new coronavirus has, temporarily at least, changed the way we live and interact. Churches are responding to this by looking for different ways of continuing our walk with God together. The resources in this section are provided to help you get started with digital ministry.
Welcoming People
CPAS has produced an update to their booklet and course Everybody Welcome, aimed specifically at this new situation. You can get it as a free download from the CPAS website.
Online Services
Many churches are now streaming their Sunday services online, either live or pre-recorded. There are several different ways to do this and we discuss the pros and cons on our Streaming Services page.
Online Meetings
One of the effects of the social distancing measures is that groups are no longer able to meet together in person. However they can still meet online using a popular application called Zoom. It is very easy to use and means that you can ‘meet’ for coffee in your own homes, or have prayer meetings or home groups.
If you haven’t used Zoom before, here are some simple instructions to join a meeting.
We also have instructions for how to set up a zoom meeting.
